HOW DOES SUNLESS TANNING WORK?
The active ingredient in most sunless tanning sprays is called dihydroxyacetone (DHA). When applied to your skin, DHA reacts with skin cells in the outermost layer to temporarily darken the pigment. The absorption of DHA is not harmful, as it does not penetrate beyond the first layer of skin. The pigment will slowly fade with cleansing, and is typically applied in multiple sessions.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
When first applied, sunless tanning products appear to be clear and have little initial color. You will begin to see color appear within one hour after your treatment, and can expect to see the full color potential within 24 hours. Some sunless tanning products contain a pigment which appears on your skin right away and gradually darkens after treatment.
