Although still therapeutic for the skin, TCA Peels (Trichloroacetic Acid Peels) are fairly mild. If one has sensitive, thin, or fragile skin a TCA peel will strengthen the skin, allowing it to be more resistant to environmental stresses. Skin will be noticeably smoother and fresh in appearance.
 

HOW DOES IT WORK?
A TCA peel destroys the surface of the skin and allows new, smoother skin to come back and heal over in its place. A TCA solution is applied to the skin, typically for 10 to 15 minutes. The solution is then removed and within a few days new, smoother skin will emerge.  

With a TCA peel you typically see some tightening of the skin, lightened brown spots, reduction in surface blemishes, smoothing of pigment problems and general resurfacing.
