A Jessner’s Peel is a combination of different peeling agents and produces the most dramatic effects. This peel is ideal for aging or sun damaged skin but is also effective on normal or oily skin.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
A Jessner's Peel is a medium depth peel that is designed to correct more extensive damage than lighter peels. It is made from salicylic acid (a beta hydroxy acid), lactic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid) and resorcinol.  

The Jessner’s peel combines these acids to result in deeper penetration and greater exfoliation of the outer layers of skin cells. This deeper exfoliation produces noticeable flaking and exfoliation in the following three to four days after the peel. Within a week after the initial treatment, undesired side effects will subside and younger, smoother skin will be revealed. While there is a slight discomfort during treatment, the Jessner’s Peel is ideal for skin correction, and in some cases, acne treatment.
